Icons missing in all kde5 applications

Ever since the kde5 upgrades came out icons have started going missing left and right. What package am I missing? How do I diagnose this problem?

Any idea what's going on?

You can create a temporary user and check if with this the icons are showed.
If this happens probably the problem is a configuration file corrupted
