|
|
After my last world update (unfortunately I do not remember what packages were affected) some fonts have been renamed. The following fonts are affected:
Code: | <Old name> --> <New name>
Linux Biolinum Keyboard --> Linux Biolinum Keyboard O
Linux Biolinum --> Linux Biolinum O
Linux Libertine Display --> Linux Libertine Display O
Linux Libertine Initials --> Linux Libertine Initials O
Linux Libertine Mono --> Linux Libertine Mono O
Linux Libertine --> Linux Libertine O
| I noticed the problem today because I got complains about broken Libre Writer templates that happened to use the old font name. Of course, I could adjust all templates. However first I would like to know- if this is a permanent change or just a temporary situation
- if there was any reason for this change? (Background: The templates and documents should be interoperable and as far as I see the fonts are still under there old name in Windows and other Linux distros)

The O at the end of Linux Libertine may mean Open Fonts Project. I guess it is here to stay. _________________ Paul |
