Hello guys,
I'm trying again to use pulseaudio (because alsa slowly become unsupported), but without success.
Environnment : Openrc/Consolekit/Wayland/3 sound card
I think my problem is the acl, when I run with consolekit
Code: | XKB_DEFAULT_LAYOUT=fr XKB_DEFAULT_MODEL=pc104 exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session sway |
Code: | getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names
# file: dev/snd/controlC0
# owner: root
# group: audio
user::rw-
group::rw-
mask::rw-
other::--- |
So if I put my user into the audio group I have sound, and alsamixer have direct access to the card. And still can't launch pavucontrol.
Any idea of where I should look?
Thanks |

If there's something wrong with pulseaudio it outputs errors to syslog, start there. |

I just remove the ck-launch-session and it's working.
But still can't see my user in the control acl.
Is it normal? |

I started dbus just for a while, by using rc-update dbus default.
Try my words. Maybe you could find your user name in output of getfacl.
Remember remove your user name from audio group. |
