hi all, i am on install step bootstrapping the system code
section 12: bootstrapping the system
scripts/bootstrap.sh does a ton of stuff, then gets down to business and bails with collect 2: ld terminated with signal 11 [segmentation fault]
right after a gcc for libintl.a
i tried to restart the bootstrap.sh and it bailed out at creating ./config_status with unable to handle paging request at virtual address ff13a507 and then there is an Oops message.
Oops, what did it do, spill its beer?
So how do I recover from this and get my machine up. I was going along so great.... until this.

Sig 11 or segfault is usely a sign of flaky hardware. Check your CPU temp, run memtest from the install cd, turn down your FSB. Been ther done that
