x11-misc/qxkb : flags and/or settable text?

Does anyone know whether there are any plans for x11-misc/qxkb to show flags or at least allow the user to set the text that gets displayed?

For instance, i need to switch between "english" and "english international" but both appear as "US" so i cannot know which is being active.

Does LXQt/openbox offer the possibility to save the session before logging off?

Meaning, when logging back again to be able to restore things like qterminal with all its tabs and working directories, okular with all the open PDF documents, open editor windows, and so on.

I have two questions about qterminal:

1) I see there is a comand-line option "--profile: Load qterminal with specific options" but i see no way of defining profiles from the menu bar. Is there some other way? And what are the settable options?

2) I was wondering whether it would be possible to add an option to "Ask for Tab Closing Confirmation". There is already "Ask for Window Closing Confirmation" in Preferences / Look & Feel. My situation is that i use many tabs, each labeled with a single letter, so the red "close" button occupies one third of the tab width and is easy to hit accidentally...

Most files on its home page date from 4-5 years ago...
