Hello gentoo experts. Im just installed gentoo and get a lot of problems.
I installed with systemd only without DE.
Also after fresh installation I had black screen, just black screen without console or grub menu.
After I googled a lot before write here and now I have some sort of log,
I attach lot of info about my system and log from screen*khe-khe*shot.
Thanks a lot!
Also, when I installed grub, i have warning "EFI variables not supported ... ".

Black screen or with cursor?
Do you see any of GRUB startup?
Did the screen flicker from mode changes?
What happens with no grub,cfg at all?
Wait, what is with that screenshot? Is that what you get now stuck at that screen? _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Hi, thanks for reply!
So this was a black screen and after I googled, I recompiled core with "framebuffer support of console" (something like this) and after reboot it showed this log.

No, nothing. And after reboot with real log, nothing from grub.

If I get it right, after power up it flicker one time, when OS must show up, but nothing. (until this log)

Ye. I think it some sort of ATI radeon framebuffer error. May be I need show my .config of kernel? |

I'm confused now. Without grub.cfg you should get the grub prompt. But if you got past that (and seemingly by the screenshot you did) grub did its job except didn't show it. So grub either was not configured properly for EFI or perhaps you set EFI to boot your kernel instead of EFI.
Now that you did get to the kernel it gets stuck...well now that's a bit tougher as it looks like it's having trouble going to the Radeon Framebuffer... If you had just the EFI framebuffer without Radeon, you should have been able to get at least this far too, hence confusion... _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

To be honest, I just realized that boot usb haven't /sys/firmware/efi. Is it okay?) My motherboard is one of new ones) How can I boot from UEFI?
