I have recently done a full installation and I am using KDE5, but I don't have the hibernate option on the "leave" menu.

Suspend shows and works properly, I have followed https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Suspend_and_hibernate and running "echo disk > /sys/power/state" hibernates the computer.

I have followed other posts on the forums including: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1042642-highlight-hibernate.html and added the /etc/polkit-1/localauthority/10-vendor.d/50-org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.hibernate-multiple-users.pkla file, but still no hibernate option.

Here are some outputs:
Code:

Can you try this as your user instead of root?

You could try switching to sys-power/upower (sys-power/upower-pm-utils is an ancient hack). Failing that, it might be worth filing a bug so the consolekit maintainer can investigate why CanHibernate returns false.

I have switched to sys-power/upower still no success, I will do some more attempts if all fails I will try and file a bug with consolekit maintainer.
Thanks for the help
