I followed the gentoo wiki guide (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Sony_DualShock) to set up my dualshock 4, and paired it without issue. However, while its detected (in retroarch, for example), none of the inputs work. It works perfectly fine over usb.
Could this be a permissions error? I do have the plugdev group added. |

What joypad driver were you using in retroarch? The udev one had the best results for me (albeit on a PSX-USB adapter), but I hit all kinds of issues with the others. |

Could also be a setup issue in the game it self expecting an USB device? |

I updated the wiki page:
Quote: | Newer DualShock 4 controllers require at least Linux 4.5 or a patched previous version to correctly work via Bluetooth. |
If you're using a controller released after the DualShock 4 Wave Blue (like the Glacier White), that's most likely the cause. |
