|
|
Hello everyone,
I'm near to have my gentoo ready. My last really big problem is pulseaudio.
For now I use startx with:
Code: | exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session <WINDOW_MANAGER> |
And when I run ck-list-sessions, the output is :
Code: | Session1:
unix-user = '1000'
realname = '(null)'
seat = 'Seat1'
session-type = ''
active = FALSE
x11-display = ''
x11-display-device = ''
display-device = '/dev/tty1'
remote-host-name = ''
is-local = TRUE
on-since = '2016-07-06T13:23:03.641522Z'
login-session-id = '1'
Session2:
unix-user = '1000'
realname = '(null)'
seat = 'Seat1'
session-type = ''
active = TRUE
x11-display = ':0'
x11-display-device = '/dev/tty7'
display-device = '/dev/tty1'
remote-host-name = ''
is-local = TRUE
on-since = '2016-07-06T13:26:33.775953Z'
login-session-id = '1' |
I have the sound, but when I run pavucontrol from terminal it connects but does'nt affect the sound.
I'm on Awesome and Pavucontrol can be launch from the graphic launcher, but this time the sound is affected.
So I think that only session 1 can manipulate sound.
But when I coonect my bluetooth headset (bluez 5), only the pavucontrol from the terminal detect it.
I think that the solution is to have only one consolekit session, or maybe allow session 2 to manipulate sound too.
But how I can do that?
Thanks

No, I deleted my user from the audio group like the pulseaudio wiki on gentoo say.
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/PulseAudio
And this time everything is okay except this point. |

It's not really the solution to the problem, but that's the best solution for me :
With lightdm I'm able to have only one consolekit session.
Pavucontrol from terminal is not working, but it doesn't matter, the one launch by Awesome is working and it detect my bluetooth. |
