Hi all! I used deluge as torrent-client about 1 year and all was okay. Yesterday I tryed to install anothere torrent-client - transmission. I compare them and all work fine on both. Then I deleted deluge and faced with 2 problem:

Transmission:
client can't open torrent-file in file manager or link in firefox. Before removal of deluge and recompilation of transmission (I removed gtk use-flag and recompile it) all was fine.

Deluge:
When I try compile deluge again I see next:

https://bpaste.net/show/b445b3596905

How I can solve both of them?

Hi there,

if you recompiled transmission without "gtk" - does it mean you are running it on QT (KDE)?
If there is no GUI program, do you connect to the local server via a webbrowser to watch your torrents' progress?

Please provide details on:
which version of transmission you installed
detailed useflags which you used for transmission
details about your desktop environment and how you are trying to open the files
I'll try to help you getting transmission up and running then.

This is no longer necessary, I started use KTrorrent and I like it.

Nevertheless, about Transmission:

I am using Plasma 5 and trying to make all programs with QT.
When I recompiled back with gtk use-flag, all works fine with gtk interface, but not qt. (qt5 of course)
transmission-2.84-r4

Code:
# equery uses transmission
+gtk
-lightweight
-qt4
+qt5
+systemd
-xfs

I trying open file in Dolphin and link in Firefox. it alright with gtk but not qt.

I try emerge it, and all works. Problem solved by itself, maybe after updates
