Hi, my data are gone from wallet manager, all I can see there are Chrome Form Data and empty accounts folder, even though I use kwallet to store kopete and kmail passwords and those applications are still able to authenticate. I had some manually stored data there as well that I wan back. Any ideas how to recover my data? Thanks.
app versions:
kwallet-manager-15.12.3
kwallet-5.21.0 |

kwalletmanager-15.12.3 (slot 5) manages your kf5-based wallet.
kopete and kmail are still kdelibs4-based, so for these applications kwalletd:4 is still in use, to manage that you need kwalletmanager-15.04.3-r1:4 installed. |

Thanks, that is indeed the case. I don't know why I though that this was supposed to be migrated, maybe because of that annoying migration assistant that kept running over and over again at each login and actually migrated nothing. But as I understand now, this is more like parallel usage rather than migration. Is there easy way to transfer my data to new version of kwallet, I don;t think migration assistant will be of much help. There is encrypted export option in new wallet, but not in the old one, and I want to avoid writing unencrypted data to disk. |

The migration agent might have a bug in your current version of Frameworks; there have been fixes in subsequent releases 5.22 and 5.23. Of course it should work in the future should you migrate to KDE PIM 5 at some point. |
