Hi,
Where I could find Gentoo starts logs I could see on the screen after pressing the power button till login panel? Dmesg provides just half of those I need. |

Xywa,
edit your /etc/inittab
change line
Code: | 1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1 |
to
Code: | 1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty --noclear tty1 |
for more log
Code: | $more /var/log/messages/ |

I do not have mingetty, this is mine:
Code: | # cat /etc/inittab
#
# /etc/inittab: This file describes how the INIT process should set up

Xywa,
There is also the logger in /etc/rc.conf which is off by default. _________________ Regards,
