I tried setting up spotify. It starts fine, but whenever i try playing a music, it closes.
I emerged pulseaudio. Spotify started working. No problems. I followed instructions from gentoo handbook. Permissions are allright.
After a reboot my speaker doesn't work anymore. Actually it works but only produces hissing noise when it's supposed to be playing music. (this is analog output)Same with headphones.I changed some settings from pulseaudio but it's either this or no sound at all. HDMI output works though.
I am using a desktop profile with kde plasma if that's relevant. Sorry if this is a noob question. I'm new to linux.

| Managed to solve the hissing issue. Pulseaudio works fine now. |
