I made a NEW install to try KDE-5.
I did that for 2 reasons:
1.I didn't want to mess up my regular desktop.
2.Have a clean KDE-5 install to check it out.
So far I don't see anything that's better.
On the contrary.
On KDE-4 if you rightclicked the mouse in an empty part of the desktop you'd get
a drop down menu with "Leave" among others.
Clicking that would get you another menu with "Logout" "Shutdown" "Reboot".
In KDE-5 that's gone.
Now you have all kinds of complicated main menu or key combo's.
And there's more.
Can anyone tell me why KDE-5 is the thing to have?

The same disk can be used for 32 and 64 bit installs.
You can follow the Handbook verbatim.

On all of my Plasma-5 systems, this works just the same as in Plasma-4. Do you have the reboot/shutdown options missing also from the K menu? |
