I'm a FreeBSD user too, but pure FreeBSD, I've never used Gentoo FreeBSD. The portage tree has some features which FBSD ports lacks, but I still think FBSD ports more robust for sensitive servers. portaudit is a killer. |

I use FreeBSD itself, too.
I never bothered with Gentoo + FBSD kernel because it's the complete opposite of what I would really want; Linux kernel with nice FreeBSD userland and ports. |

I test gentoo/FreeBSD under Virtualbox. But it is hard to get it working for me. No X and no webbrowser
Eventually I hope to replace my native FreeBSD with gentoo/FreeBSD |
