When I do "emerge -avuND @world" it stops at "apps-c/vim-core-7.4.769" with either error messages "404 not found" or "unable to resolve host".
I have removed the deprecated SYNC setting in the make.conf and built a repos.conf/gentoo.conf with the mirrorselect tool. And I have done "emerge --sync" beforehand.
I also get the error message local use flag "crypt" has been renamed to "cryptsetup" (Bug #414523) for sys-kernel/genkernel-3.4.52.3 but perhaps it isn't related to the issues with vim...
What's wrong? |

i have the same problem. the download urls all either resolvs to not found or bad checksum.

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Duplicate Threads in favour of Cannot update vim, shadow or less ....
While older than the above mentioned, it seems that one has been getting all the replies.
