I'm not getting any sound on my Intel HD MID audio. Speaker-test runs with no issues, but no sound. I have everything unmuted and I am apart of the group audio. I am using kernel built in driver snd-hda-intel audio driver. Any suggestions?

Yes, all sliders on device 3: ID 2804 Digital [ID 2804 Digital] are up and un muted. _________________
Checkout #grandmasboy on freenode...chat with jayP bot from the movie!
|

dman sadly having codec showing their ID "should be" a sign the codecs are not known
here are mines to see the missign "ID" ref
Code: | Codec: Realtek ALC892
Codec: Nvidia GPU 40 HDMI/DP
|
So, you should try getting a newer kernel to get a newer alsa, and by that, getting newer codecs.
Without the proper codecs built, no money.
You may try to build the generic codec, it might works. Or check alsa website to see codecs and alsa version need for that card. |
