Hi @all
does media-video/vlc-2.2.1-r1 have a Automute Bug?
Since a while i am using it and often when slowing down the sound its muted and cant be tuned up again.
Someone else with this Problem?

| Do you lose sound or does it actually mute properly i.e show mute symbol next to volume slider? I've had issues with the VLC player losing sound intermittently usually on startup and while seeking or changing the volume. I found that changing the output to "ALSA audio output" in the audio preferences completely fixed this and it hasn't happened since |
