Hello,
I have been having all kinds of issues of late.
I wanted to play some games today but when I tried to open steam it did nothing.
I ran it in the terminal and this is what is shows: | Code: | STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1447125378)
libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast |
Then I reinstalled steam and made sure that all the dependencies where all there.
Later, I saw a post that they said it was the nvidia driver needed to be updated. So I made sure that I am using the latest version: | Code: | | x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-358.13 ~amd64 |
I restarted my system and tried to start steam again, same error.
Anyone have an idea what is going on?

| Maybe bug 531990. The ebuilds in gamerlay and steam overlay should be fixed already. |
