This is up to you to investigate, all tools you need are on liveDVD, we are not there watching over your shoulder. When you figure it out you can use same settings for your install. |

After some test.
I see different between LiveDVD and my system:
Kernels configs equal(intel, fb)
In the KDE monitor settings in the LiveDVD there is all info(vga, hdmi,dp,virtual, resolutions select and so on...)
In my system only one center window with yellow star button and button with resolution settings.

Also two differents:
1. In the end of loading of the LiveDVD before swithing to the graphical mode i see some yellow record about intel. Looks like driver loading final/main moment. In the dmesg i can't see this record. In my system i can't see this record during boot.
2. In the LiveDVD kernel "modesetting intel by default" doesn't selected. Only "fbdev legacy". In my system i should select both options "fbdev legacy intel" and "intel modesetting by default".
Please help.
Best regards Viktor. |

I compared xorg logs from LiveDVD and my systems.
They are equal, exepting 2 strings:
On LiveDVD log present:
-Display hotplug detection enabled
-Loadmodule glamoregl
Where i can find this options? |

glamor accel is built into mesa and your xf86-video-* driver. Seems recommended is off for intel driver.
Is Detect firmware EDID enabled in your kernel? |
