|
|
During the last couple of days a gentoo system would not make it through complete build of world.
The update of libpeas was consistently failing.
I barely recall what the log said.
I decided to simply try adjusting use flags to see if it helped and it did.
In my particular config, libpeas indicated '-glade' when displaying the output of:
Code: | emerge -tvp dev-libs/libpeas |
So, added one use flag to an entry for this package in package.use:
Code: | dev-libs/libpeas glade |
Now, everything builds again.
HTH!

It would be nice if you introduce your role when you make this request.
Ten years ago people discussed this.
If this practice is officially sanctioned by the community, then why is it not mentioned
in the Announcement: Guidelines (READ BEFORE POSTING), which is located
in the News & Announcements section?
I'm in the camp that does not see the value in this practice.
However, if it is the consensus of the community, then I can also do the same.
At this point, I am not seeing it in the Guidelines, yet.
Now, you and I have been successful in adding a whole lot more irrelevant search terms
to this thread for future Users to see it in their search results, erroneously.
Cheers,
