I have successfully installed Gentoo (x32) as Guest on VirtualBox 5 (Windows 7).
Under Hyper-V, even though there's Network Adapter in the Hyper-V settings
and using install-x86-minimal-20150929.iso:
1. ifconfig displays only the "lo" network.
2. ls /sys/class/net displays only "lo".
3. lspci displays only: Host bridge, ISA bridge, IDE interface, Bridge and VGA.
No LAN / Ethernet.
I cannot access the internet.
I also tried Legacy Network, but same problem.
Anybody who have solved this? |

You can use a different bootcd. Try out SystemRescueCD instead of the minimal gentoo install cd.
