Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to get Thunar to show 'user' NFS mounts from /etc/fstab in a similar way to how it shows removable devices, etc? In KDE4, Dolphin shows them in this way and I used to use this functionality all the time on my laptop to mount & unmount shares on various servers at home/parents/work/secondment. Now, since switching to XFCE, I have to open up a terminal and type a mount or umount command, which is no hardship for me but people I've previously told that Linux really isn't all about typing cryptic command-lines find it mightily amusing. (I do find it a little annoying, though, knowing how well it worked in KDE.)

I've tried turning on the 'nfs' USE flag for gvfs but it made no difference.

I'm running ~amd64, fully updated as of today.

Thanks,
Stephen

be sure u used "showmounts" on the NFS server side..... place the wanted mounts in the fstab and on boot them will be mounted.
onces this server is mounted you can browser the nfs shares with thunar.
dont forget to secure ur nfs server with ip access and user/passwd access and dont forget to install the thunar plugin ^^

You can find a logic howto in the wiki.....

Regards
