I've installed LXDE with pm-utils, consolekit, upower-pm-utils...
When I click Logout button I have plenty options witch works except hibernate which only turns off monitor, keyboard and mouse, CPU fan still turns and PC doesn't hibernate.
pm-hibernate command works under root account well.
Is there any e.g. kernel option or something else wrong?
Thanks |

I found solution myself. It's kernel config problem.
If somebody fall into this problem it's needed to enable SMP even on 1 CPU/core system and then hot-pluggable CPU. Maybe a little more so if somebody have problem with this, just drop the line in this thread and I'll try to find other kernel opts. |

And it seems it have correlation with "basic" hibernate/suspend command as root:
Code: | echo mem > /sys/power/state
or
echo disk > /sys/power/state |
If the second command doesn't work, LXDE session's hibernation won't work either. |
