Let me get straight to the point, it looks like neither vlc nor mplayer support dts-hd and higher play back via hdmi pass through. I can play a straight audio file and my receiver detects it as dts-hd. However, if I try to play a dts-hd movie, it only plays as dts.
I have found a lot of forum posts about this, but no answer. The majority of the posts have been old.
Any one knows a way to play dts-hd movies? _________________ cya |

Apparently it is possible with "dcadec" and "mpv". _________________ cya |
