I don't know if this is linked to the ncurses issues that popped up lately so I give it a try. I am unable to build ncurses (and other packages like gawk too) because of this failure:
| Code: | gawk: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libreadline.so.6: undefined symbol: UP
|
Also tried to replace libreadline by the one from the stage 3 archive but it didnt work out.
Build log: https://dpaste.de/exzy
emerge --info: https://dpaste.de/zt5P

| Yeah, my testbox is plagued by the same issue after one of the ncurses updates went wrong. No idea right now how to recover. |

Solved it.
Tried to re-emerge sys-apps:gawk. This didnt work so I copied the binary from the stage3-archive to /usr/bin/, after that emerge worked. |
