I added all of the kernel configs detailed here http://www.funtoo.org/HyperV_Kernel_Configuration as well as

Code:

Device Drivers -> Input Devices -> Hardware I/O Ports -> i8042 PC Keyboard Controller

but I am unable to log in after rebooting because I can't type the username and password. What am I missing?

Edit: I resolved this by adding the generic AT keyboard support I think.

There's a hyper-v keyboard driver: Device Drivers -> Input device support -> Hardware I/O ports -> Microsoft Synthetic Keyboard driver
