|
|
Hi guys,
I'm trying to test out some themes for awesomewm, I go the themes from https://github.com/copycat-killer/awesome-copycats.
I cloned to my local Git repo and then copied everything over to ~/.config/awesome/ . To swtich themes I just
Code: | cp rc.lua.multicolor rc.lua |
The problem is, awesome complains that I don't have the module "gears". I've googled and looked around for the past couple of days but I can't seem to find anything on it, even less so when including Gentoo in the search terms. I've merged the X11 package Vicious but, still nothing.
Any advise in the right direction would be very much appreciated. |

Which version of awesome are you using? Could you paste the complete error message? If you have trouble getting it as text you also could post a screenshot of the notification with the error message. |

Pretty sure that requires > 3.5 what version are you trying to emerge?
It may be as simple as adding an entry for awesome in /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords
Code: | >=x11-wm/awesome-3.5 ~amd64 |
|
