Chinese font anti-aliasing

Hi,

Chromium displays Chinese characters just fine, which nice anti-aliasing. Firefox does not. Kate can display them nicely in its text window, but not when I choose the default oxygen-fonts.

There is no reliable, up-to-date guide on how to get proper anti-aliasing for Chinese fonts, unfortunately. Other distros also don't seem to have these severe problems.

Has anyone tackled this problem successfully, system-wide?
