Kernel crashing on startup after upgrade to 4.1.3

Hello all,

I have been using Gentoo for almost 2 years now and I haven't had an issue like this before.

After upgrading from kernel 4.0.5 to 4.1.3 my system will not boot. I have gone back and reverted to 4.0.5 but I can't get enough information from the crash to determine the issue.

I am not sure what other information would be helpful in determining the issue. Let me know and I will post it.

Ok, short of a bisect, there's not much to see from your error.

Have you ever done one of those before?

I haven't but I found https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Kernel_git-bisect. I assume this is what you are describing.
