Hi,

I would post in Chinese but ibus isn't working :D

I had the same problem a while ago. My pinyin input method isn't using pinyin. For example, when I type i, it shows ch and when I type another i it shows chi. qw becomes qia, zr becomes zuan, ch becomes cang and ln becomes lin. I read in another post that this may be the behaviour of zhuyin. Any Taiwanese here who could confirm that?

Last time I fixed the problem by changing random settings, restarting the input method, deleting the configuration files... I don't know what fixed it. Which brings me to the second problem: I can't open the pinyin preferences. When I click the button, this happens:
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "main.py", line 426, in <module>
    main()
  File "main.py", line 422, in main
    PreferencesDialog(name).run()
  File "main.py", line 54, in __init__
    self.__values = dict(self.__config.get_values(self.__config_namespace))
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_values'

And no settings window pops up.

谢谢 (xxxx becomes xiexie)
