I can't start Sanctum 2.
If I strace it, I end up with
Code: | write(2, "SDL_Init() failed: No available "..., 45SDL_Init() failed: No available video device |
and I don't really understand why that would be failing.
A trivial "Hello world" sdl program compiles and runs fine, so sdl_init can run. And there's definitely a video device available since I can play other games (such as Dota 2) just fine.
I've seen the suggestion that 32-bit libs are missing, but looking at ldd output, the application appears to be 64-bit, so that shouldn't matter, and even installing libsdl2 with 32-bit support didn't help. |

Probably not the biggest game, but a decent one and it has native linux support.
For unrelated reasons I upgraded my GPU, and works fine now. |

I've installed it through steam. I would absolutely share my ebuild had I made one. |
