|

I'm using portage-2.0.49-r21
When I type
Code: |
emerge -buildpkgonly package_name
|
package_name gets installed as well as a .tbz file being put in /usr/portage/packages.
The emerge -B flag has the same effect. I've not changed any config files since the previous version of portage which didn't have this problem. Not sure what to make of this.
Has anyone else had this problem?
thanks,
J |

Do you have FEATURES="buildpkg" set in make.conf ? If yes than that would be an explanation (I'm not saying that this isn't a bug). |

Hi,
I do but I've tried doing it without to the same end effect. Why would this cause packages to be installed anyway?
Thanks,

Hmm, can't confirm it with 2.0.50_pre12, will test it with 2.0.49-r21 tomorrow (really need some sleep now). |

Hi,
I can't reproduce this now. Probably down to tiredness and induced confusion. Thanks for your help
