I upgraded many packages around May 1st, at which time some of the applications on my machine started to look funny:

notify-send test

evince

I didn't have time to investigate what was going wrong,
until today I figured out it is because of the style (xfce setting manager => Appearance) I'm using: "Raleigh", "Xfce-flat" and few other styles still looks fine,
but all the other styles look like the screenshot above.

my WM is xmonad, with xfsettingsd to manage fonts/styles/etc.
(launching xfce4-session doesn't seem to solve the problem)

Someone happen to know what could be the problem?

Javran,

eventually it could also have to do with this bug, I was affected some weeks ago in a different way.

Much success, Andy.

Hi Randy, thanks for letting me know!

My nm-applet does look funny (in the same way my evince looks). I've downgraded it to x11-libs/gtk+-3.14.9 but that doesn't solve the problem.
But anyway that bug seems to be related so I'll also keep an eye on it.

The problem remains with the latest version of gtk+ so maybe it's not relate ... any idea?
