After a very brief power outage my system now hangs at the following message:

Before it were some autofs messages I believe. It just hangs at the message and doesn't progress. I am using an ssd, I can tell that it is still alive or at least readable because it read the grub configuration and I can still see it from gparted, I am unsure what to do or what could be causing it to hang at this point?

fixed by running

btrfs check --repair /dev/sda3

since my rootfs is a btrfs filesystem.
