I'd like to run in KDE via Autostart a script which runs ssh.
But ssh would steel the keyboard focus for the pass phrase to unlock the ssh private key.
Now I'm wondering how to _check_ that before the user already delivered (via ssh-agent) the pass phrase ?

Depending on your setup and purpose you might consider storing your key not encrypted. In this case ssh will not ask for password at all.
