HI,
my machine (no WLAN) is connected via LAN to the router which communicates via WLAN to the WLAN-printer. Is it possible to print from my machine via LAN->WLAN and if so, what do i have to do/install as package?
Thanks a lot!

Code: Select all
/etc/cups $ ls -l

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31 7. Mär 20:31 client.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2834 16. Apr 11:38 cups-browsed.conf

Didn't the screenshots in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Brother_ne ... he_printer tell you how to proceed?Mati wrote:Thanks, i started the cups service and can connect to http://localhost:631/admin/. However, it does not find any printer. "No printers available".
By choosing add printer i don't know which type to choose or how i could figure this out. Its simply a wlan-printer communicating with the router...
Any hints how to proceed?
