Hi!

What video hardware do you have?
Code:
/usr/sbin/lspci

Assuming you have an intel card, what relevant kernel setting do you have?
Code:
grep -e INTEL -e DRM /usr/src/linux/.config

I think you need set that option.

You can locate it in kernel sources menu:
Code:

  │ Symbol: DRM_I915_KMS
  │ Type  : boolean
  │ Prompt: Enable modesetting on intel by default
  │   Location:
  │     -> Device Drivers
  │       -> Graphics support
  │         -> Direct Rendering Manager
  │           -> Intel 8xx/9xx/G3x/G4x/HD Graphics (DRM_I915)

I see the NOUVEAU driver is not set, have you emerged nvidia-drivers? Also you have the Radeon driver. I had trouble with both Intel and AMD video drivers loaded.
