xbmc / kodi shutdown problem

Hello all,

I am running kodi 14.1, which is autostarted via the script provided in the gentoo kodi wiki page.

Everything is running fine, however, shutting down is another story...

I added the policykit script to enable shutdown, but the only option I ever get is 'Exit'.

Even when I remove the '-u ${KODI_USER:-kodi}' part in the init-script (I suppose it then runs as root?) this behaviour does not change.
When I login as root and start the script manually (/etc/init.d/kodi start) it does work (even with the standard kodi user).
Very confusing...

Can someone help me with this? Did I miss something?
