so I've installed Gentoo yesterday and I have DWM, now I have problems I could not understand how to solve:
*I can't config the dwm (Tried to put a "dwm-6.0" and "dwm-6.0.h" in /etc/portage/savedcondig/x11-wm/ and then USE="savedconfig" emerge dwm but it's not working (didnt got an error and I reboot my PC after this)
*I can't move the windows, I tried with alt + mouse but the windows still not moving or resizing
I'm new to Gentoo so... |

Hi xSqueal,
Welcome to Gentoo and welcome to dwm!
You were correct in emerging dwm with the 'savedconfig' USE flag. If you want to configure dwm you have to edit /etc/portage/savedconfig/x11-wm/dwm-6.0 (don't add a ".h" after this file). Once you're done editting, re-emerge dwm for the new changes to take effect. You shouldn't need to reboot your machine, although you will have to exit X and run `startx` again.
Secondly, once you're in the dwm environment, if you're trying to move windows you can do so in a few ways. Alt+LeftMouse usually works for me. I definitely recommend reading the Suckless tutorial on dwm, located here: http://dwm.suckless.org/tutorial
