I don't understand the reason for the decline in no. of updates (everything else is the same).

Using ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~* ?
Is there a later version of a particular package you're interested in? _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

dE_logics ...
how many PPM (packages per month) is in your contract? ;) ... but seriously, I'm not sure that "number of updates" is a valid heuristic for measuring if we are alive or not, if it were then we all know that whomever was orchestrating these zombie marches could cheat the system by adding unneeded dependencies on each package giving the impression *it* was alive when all that was happening was the increase of overall package installs ... and so, flesh consumption ... that's a scenario from Dawn of the Living Distribution my friend ;)

I do stay mostly non ~amd64 so there are days that I don't see any updates, and other days where I see quite a few. _________________ PRIME x570-pro, 3700x, 6.1 zen kernel

Maybe your packages are more minimalist than they used to be, and therefore
less updates? |

In my case, I have updates each day (~arch, 785 packages). _________________ Kind regards,

Yeah, maybe the upstream build system has improved to be more modular. _________________ My blog |
