Forgotten password old email

I have had my forum account since about 2006. I can't remember my password, and I have tried everything I can think of. I think the email address for my account is an old gmail account that I have deleted due to my dislike of google. I dont post often however I would hate to lose my forum account even if only for sentiment. Is there anything you guys can do to help me regain access to my account?

My account username is vortix.

Use wireshark to monitor you network traffic to that server. It's crazy but a lot of software like email and newsreaders use clear text passwords by default, or did so until recently. I can't tell you how many email passwords I've recovered for coworkers that way.

Wait. Do you mean your gentoo forum account? That won't work then. You need to talk to an admin.
