I have a problem with batti (0.3.8-r2) on Fluxbox (1.3.2) in the systemtray. In essence when the machine is in laptop-mode the batti values are not updated from the state they were in when the system went to laptop-mode. A direct call to Upower or a check of the sys files reports the correct value but Batti does not update. Has anyone experienced this or something similar with another system tray command?
UPDATE: I stumbled across this post (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=180677) which suggests that the problem is due to an update in UPower combined with the fact that batti is abandonware. The conclusion of that thread was to try cbatticon which I will do although that does not appear to be compatible with my laptop at present. Any other alternative suggestions are welcome. _________________ Linux, the OS for the obsessive-compulsive speed freak in all of us. |
