|
|
hello,
I recently upgraded gkrellm to version 2.0. Its working great except for one problem. When i logout of kde i want gkrellm to be there at startup so i check the "save session" box. when i log back in there are two gkrellms where i left one. If i leave those 2 gkrellms and save settings then 4 come where the two were. no matter how many times i quit down to one gkrellm and save settings two always pop up when i start kde, so i need to quit one at every log in. this problem only happens with gkrellm 2.0. any idea whats wrong? |

Primarily a KDE issue, moving from OTG to DE. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

I've had flaky problems using 'Save Session" in the past, not the exact same problem. You could have X start the app for you, my .xinitrc looks like this.
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/gkrellm2&
exec /path/to/my/windowmanager
Not really solving your problem. You might try quiting all instances of gkrellm2, then "Save Session", then try again ? |
