hi.
I'm trying to setup a router to send some domains to go through a proxyserver.
is it possible to use iptables or something similar to read a list of domains from a file and route all connections through a local proxyserver?
I could setup squid at the router, but i think its a bit overkill if i just want to route some domains.
thank you _________________ its only wrong if you get caught |

Hi gothbox,
sounds as a transparent proxy for selected domains solution.
Tor TransparentProxy has a iptables ruleset example.
Crux of the matter is you want domain matching but iptables deals with IPs.
These days common sites have DDoS countermeasures like single IP rotating when doing a dns lookup. |
