Hi,
After choose entry from grub menu, it shows only "Booting a command list" and freezes(no errors, ctrl-alt-del not work, nothink)
Screen: http://gyazo.com/75f2aa71bfdeef8277ab862e9caaa6fc
System started under qemu. Kernel is maked from make allnoconfig and with very few options(for vda, running ELF binaries, ext4 and some options for gentoo qemu guest). Kernel sources installed from sys-kernel/hardened-sources
I never seen it before. This is my 1'st installation hardened gentoo.
What causes this issue? Thanx |

I think you need to enable at least CONFIG_VGA_CONSOLE=y option in the kernel in order to be able to see any error messages that the kernel may be printing out. Without this, it's just a wild guess as to what may be going wrong. |

Since 3.15 the VGA_CONSOLE is not enabled with allnoconfig like it was in 3.14, but also SIGNALFD is optional symbol (madness!)
Check on https://bitbucket.org/piotrkarbowski/foo-miniconfig that could be what you want, minimal qemu/kvm bootable kernel without bloat. |
