I've got a strange situation where, when I open gnome-system-monitor and click on the file system tab, the page is blank. It doesn't show any of my partitions; not root, not boot, etc. I'm trying to figure out why they don't populate but there doesn't seem to be a lot of documentation on the subject. I'm currently running a relatively new install with Gnome 3.10.2. Has anybody experienced this? Could it be a use flag issue? A permissions issue? Does the file systems tab function properly for anyone? |

Works for me on my systemd box. I think gnome-system-monitor uses dbus and systemd to get information - if they aren't working, it could be problematic.
I haven't tried to see what Gnome 3 does when running under OpenRC, but I figure something like what you describe could happen... _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Thanks for the response. I've got systemd functional, but haven't paid much attention to dbus. I'll dig around and see what I come up with. |
