Wine seems not to be able to handle any kind of networking. I cannot play any multiplayer games over the LAN, like Age of Empires 2, StarCraft, Counter Strike 1.6. Every time I try to join a LAN game, the games can't simply find any, or other players can't find the multiplayer games I create on my computer.
iptables is disabled and I am connected to the same network.

Did anyone experienced this issue?

Do you have multiple ethernet devices? As I discovered when using a VPN to play LAN games, Wine only broadcasts on the (alphabetically) first ethernet device it finds. So, if like many people you're playing on a laptop over wireless (wlan0), but the laptop also has a builtin ethernet port (eth0), then it won't work. Options including renaming your wireless device so that it sorts alphabetically before eth0 (like awlan0 instead of wlan0), or using wired instead of wireless.

This was the problem. I was connected via wlan and have an ethernet nic. I was using this configuration a long time ago, so anything I post will be outdated. I will make this post as solved.
