Här verkar det även finnas färdiga modifierade installers för 2.6:
http://www.sh.nu/download/nvidia/linux-2.6/

Kanske testar dem.

Jag behöver inte patcha, eller kör ni de som finns på nvidia-sidan?
emerge nvidia-kernel nvidia-glx funkar finfint för mig.
Om man kör ~x86 - versionen funkar inte glx, dock.
