I'm installing a bootstrapped prefix on a Gentoo host. The installation process appeared to go ok until I got to the point of switching from the bootstrap to the actual system emerge.
When I do the 'emerge -e system', I get these errors:

I got this problem yesterday and I hoped that maybe it would clear up after I re-synced today, but no luck with that. Can anybody suggest a way to resolve this problem? |

| I synced again today and tried to emerge the system again. This time it worked, so I assumed that the critical files got corrected. |
